Devourer is a Swedish black death metal band formed in 2002 by multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer John Falk.
Oksana Falk joined the band in 2019 to play the bass guitar, and since 2023, she's also the vocalist of Devourer.

This is fantastic! Some seriously tasty brutal tech death, with absolutely crushing riffs, rhythm, and vocals. The album's production and mixing is also perfect, it's very balanced and allows the music to shine through the brutality. Highly, highly recommended!

I wouldnt call it blackened death but it certainly has the bleak dark atmosphere akin to Akhlys or Watain while pummeling you with pure death metal and a touch of dissonance and doominess á la Morbid Angel..it really combines almost everything i love about metal and theres not a weak spot on here..their first album was good but this is stylistically much different and a vast improvement.
